Marcus Cowie

General Manager. A mechanical engineer from Monash University. Marcus joined the company in 1994 and has worked on a variety of projects in design, mechanical, electrical and programming capacities as well as project management. As General Manager he is responsible for the smooth running of projects through the various departments.

Dylan Mayson

Mechanical Engineer. Dylan graduated from Deakin University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) with a prior mechanical trade background. He manages maintenance support for wide range of our client’s plant and equipment. Dylan also provides mechanical engineering, design and project management support to Austeng projects.

John George

Consultant. One of the original shareholders and engineers. Over 40 years experience in innovative engineering and management he is now a consultant, thus helping to maintain his legacy of engineering excellence.

Lyn George

Director. Bachelor of Laws with Honours, Melbourne University. Background experience in commercial litigation. Performs legal and managerial functions within the company. Her legal background and communications skills add commercial depth to the company. Has been instrumental in Austeng’s transition to new areas of advanced manufacturing. Ron Mcdonald

Design Manager. Graduated R.M.I.T Mechanical Engineering 1982. Since commencing employment with Austeng in the 80’s Ron has been involved in all aspects of the business including design, specification, procurement, manufacture, installation and commissioning. He now heads our Design Department.

Dave Habgood

Service Manager / Electrical Engineer. He graduated from the Monash University with a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (Hons). He heads the Service Department specialising in crematoria clients. David also heads our Electrical Engineering department with experience in PLC control systems and a passion to implement IOT/ Industry 4.0 into our machines.

Tim Van Slageren

Furnace Specialist and “A” Grade Electrician. Has worked on our furnaces for over 15 years. He now project manages our furnace installation projects and up-grades.

Brad Hutton
